Painting fills my need to create and is my key to reaching inside to transform my passion for color into an outward vision. Being a native of
Louisiana and growing up in its natural beauty; I am particularly moved to paint scenes of southern life, music, floras, abstracts and people in everyday activities. I am in awe and reverence of the colors, lines and values that I am blessed to see everyday as I continue on my life-long journey as an artist. My latest news is that I won the Edgar Whitney Award in the Southwestern Watercolor Society! A fabulous group and very competitive so I am honored with winning.
I also will be adding ceramic tile coasters to my site in early November (as soon as they arrive.) that will retail for $25 per set (with 4 in a set).
