Photography Birds and more

As a painter for over 20 years, I've discovered that my passion for photography has opened entirely new creative possibilities. My birding adventures throughout the United States and Costa Rica have become central to my artistic practice, allowing me to witness and document the remarkable diversity of bird species in their natural settings and beautiful landscapes. I will spend hours chasing birds around or siting in a bird blind trying to capture a photograph that I am satisfied as a capture of art.  Every photograph I capture tells a story—one of color, movement, and wild beauty—and these images inspire the paintings I create in my studio. I'm committed to translating what I observe into artwork that celebrates these magnificent creatures and the environments they call home. While I share many of my favorite pieces here, my complete photographic collection is extensive, and I don't display everything online. This means there's always the possibility of discovering something special that speaks directly to you.
